Mid-Winter Update

Winter in Minnesota, you never know what you are going to get. With a big arctic blast now in the rear-view, the only thing lower than the temps is the snowfall. I have always been under the philosophy that if I live in a cold-weather climate, I want to have snow… and lots of it. But we’ve had less than a foot for this winter season and it’s left me kind of sad.

But not all has been sad. In fact, there is a lot more than what I can type here that has made this flipping of the calendar a reason to celebrate and remain hopeful for the year to come. So why not a recap? I can try to remember what I’ve done since last updating you about the baseball adventures (if I can remember it all).

  • October 8, 2017
    • Tour the Minnesota Wild locker room. Being a coach for Minnesota Hockey has some unexpected perks (outside of the greatest: seeing people love the game and grow as athletes and people).
  • October 18, 2017
    • Craig Finn performs at the Turf Club in St. Paul, MN.
  • October 20, 2017

  • December 20, 2017

    • Taste test the Impossible Burger at the Mall of America. This burger has been touted as the vegan burger most likely to fool meat eaters. It was pretty darn convincing, if I do say so myself.
  • December 31, 2017
    • Experience my first EDM show – Above & Beyond. This was a magical evening, one I’ll never forget. It was New Years Eve, I went with a wonderful person, and rang in the 2018 as if I were in a movie. It was unreal.
