The trip is still a few months away (less than three as I type this) and spring training games haven’t even officially begun yet, but that doesn’t stop me from looking ahead. This West Coast trip is consuming my mind, along with the other final two trips before I call it a day.
But I need some help and/or tips. If anyone reading this is (or knows of) a season ticket holder for any other the following teams, please let me know:
- San Diego Padres – May 7th
- Los Angeles Dodgers – May 8th
- Arizona Diamondbacks – May 10th
- Los Angeles Angels – May 11th
- Colorado Rockies – May 12th & 13th
I ask because I want to know if there are any early entry perks that I could somehow attach myself to. I’d definitely give back in whatever way I can, but I really just want to spend as much time at each park as possible. I want to get my hands on a ball, take in the warm-weather, and experience these new stadiums to all of their full potential.
Feel free to leave a comment here, send me a message on Twitter (@TonyV433), or contact me via any way possible.
And if you are wondering, yes, I’ve planned out all the places to score vinyl and vegan eats. It goes without saying that this area of California is a mecca for both, so I’m beyond ecstatic. I’ve also got Joshua Tree on my mind… for some reason that is one of the biggest things I’m looking forward to INCLUDING the baseball portion of the trip. There’s just something about the desert that sucks me in – I absolutely love it. The pictures look amazing, and who knows, maybe I’ll love it more than imaginable.
(If you have any record stores, vegan restaurants, or other sights I should absolutely see in any of these towns, please suggest them to me as well.)
